CPRF Starlight Gala
The Connecticut Puerto Rican Forum will celebrate
its Starlight Gala on
Thursday, June 9th at The Bond Ballroom, 338
Asylum Street in Hartford . During the festivity,
the following individuals will be honored for
their contribution to our community: David Medina
, editorialist at The Hartford Courant;
Ms. Alma Maya , co-founder of ASPIRA of
CT and the Most Reverend Peter A. Rosazza, DD
Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General for the Hispanic
Apostolate. Juan Figueroa, Pres.
of Universal Health Care Foundation of
CT will be the keynote speaker and Diane Alverio
from Baldwin/Alverio Media Marketing will
delight us as the emcee. Guest will enjoy the
classic Spanish guitar by David Giardina, performance
by Areyto Dancers, and they will be able to dance
the night away. Ann Howard ’s Chef created
the menu.
Proceeds from the Starlight Gala will ensure
that CPRF continues to provide services and programs
that have a long lasting effect in the community.

The CPRF Board of Director and its members have
the pleasure to invite the community to join
us to celebrate our triumphs. Since 1979, the
CPRF has been offering services and training
programs that help participants to achieve a
better quality of life. The success of the CPRF
has been defined by its leader’s vision
in acquiring the latest resources for the ever-changing
economy and job market.

El Connecticut Puerto Rican Forum, Inc. (CPRF)
tendrá su Starlight
Gala el 9 de junio
en el Salón de Ceremonias del Hotel Bond
localizado en la Calle Asylum #338 en Hartford.
En esta festividad se homenajearán a tres
destacados individuos: David Medina, editorialista
del Hartford Courant, Alma Maya, co-fundadora
de ASPIRA de CT y Reverendo Peter A. Rosazza,
DD., Arzobispo Auxiliar y Vicario General del
Apostolado Hispano. Invitados disfrutarán
de la guitarra clásica de David Giardina,
y exhibición de baile de Areyto Dancers.
Juan Figueroa, Presidente de la fundación
Universal Health Care será el orador principal
y Diane Alverio de Baldwin/Alverio Media Marketing
será la maestra de ceremonias. El menú es
creado por Ann Howard’s Cusine.
Fondos generados en esta actividad beneficiarán
futuros programas y servicios del CPRF. Personas
